I have had the honor and pleasure of interviewing LAURA BINGHAM, author of "ALVOR", a magical new fantasy book released in May 2009. Very soon to come will be our interview, my review, as well as a SIGNED copy of ALVOR! Laura was kind enough to provide one for our FIRST EVER L.G.B.R.S. (LateinerGangBookReviewSpot) GIVEAWAY! Thanks Laura! Keep your eyes peeled, as you will NOT want to miss this book! I won't spoil the review, but let's just say, I personally blamed Laura for going to sleep 2 nights in a row at 4:30a.m. and waking up for work at 6:30a.m. after reading all night until I fell asleep with the book in hand! It only cost me 2 days of productive work and was worth every minute of drooling on my desk. (ok, not really drooling, but you get the point, I was super tired). Stay tuned, "ALVOR" is right around the corner!

ReplyDeleteOk guys, so here's the latest on "Alvor". I spoke to Laura over the weekend and she already sent out the signed copy for our contest. As well, I had the chance to interview her, and in my opinion it was a great interview. So...interview done, review on paper already, book in the mail...as soon as I get the book, which I am guessing should be any day, and it is actually in my hand, the games will begin. I just want to make sure I have it, (this way I can show you all her "authentic" signature and get you psyched up). I would assume we are not looking at too much more time now. And I even already have the contest figured out. It will require a bit of work on your part, but hey, nothing is for free! Thank you for being patient and keep your eyes peeled! Lastly, as you know our initial goal was for the the 4 of us at. T.L.G.B.R.S to post about our different styles of reading, check out mÝ wifes first post on Tori Spelling's book "Mommywood". It might not be your style, but it's still a great first review in my opinion!

Well, I am at work and just got word from the wife that a package came today from Laura Bingham. I guess that means that tonight, I will be busy typing up a review, our interview, and oh yeah, THE CONTEST TO WIN A SIGNED COPY OF HER AWESOME BOOK "ALVOR"!!!! Here it comes!
