The Lateiner Gang would like to wish you all a very happy and healthy New Year!

Gear up, as TLG has been hard at work thinking of ways to make 2010 an awesome year for you guys here!

Thank you all for a wonderful 2009, as you gave us the opportunity to share our passion with you.  We look forward to another year with each and every one of you!

OVer the next day or so, we will start the New year off with some reviews of some great books that we recently read and want to share with you guys.

AS A SPECIAL TREAT TO START OFF THE NEW YEAR, Dave is going to do something that he has waited a looong time to do.  Although he has given you reviews and suggestions on many books written by some of his favorite authors, there is something he has withheld.  Dave's all time favorite author, who is really responsible for the aggressive reading he has done over the last few years will be revealed this weekend with a review of his brand new book that just came out this past week.  Here's 2  clues... he is a New York Times best selling author AND he is not of any genre that you would expect Dave to enjoy.  As a matter of fact, he is for the most part, the only author Dave reads of this genre.  Somewhat of an action/thriller writer, he continues to fascinate Dave and will probably remain his favorite author for many years to come.  OK, so that doesn't really narrow it down too much.  Here's two more clues.... besides being the author of many action/thriller novels and a series (which he is most noted for), he also writes in the fantasy genre as well under a different pen name (he has written a complete series as well as the first 2 books of Dave's favorite fantasy series so far).  Clue 2... besides being a remarkable author, he is also a licensed veterinarian.  If you don't know, you will find out soon!  Hopefully some of you have read his work before or will take Dave's advice and pick up one of his earlier works, (he isn't that old and has not been writing for too long) of which Dave will give you some titles to start with when he writes a little blurb along with his review.  He is super excite to share this with you!

  1. Happy New Year to all of you!!! Hope your new puppy is a dream come true.

  2. HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I'm looking forward to some more reviews from everyone and maybe (hopefully) see some more pictures of your adorable Bella!

  3. Happy New Year! I can't wait to find out who this mystery author is..hhhmm. I think I going to do some research;)
