CONTEST FOR AN ARC OF KRISTIN CASHORE'S "FIRE"!!

CONTEST TIME!!
We are giving away a crispy new ARC copy of Kristin Cashore's "FIRE',
the prequel to her smash hit "GRACELING"

The Contest Will end Monday, Sept. 21st, 2009 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

The Rules for this one are easy:

1. You MUST either already be following us or sign up to follow our blog! This is a requirement.

2. Once a follower, you can simply post about a current or recently read book that you absolutely loved. We always feel that sharing your favorites gives others the chance to read some great book they might not otherwise have.

3. You can gain additional entries in 2 ways, The FIRST: read our reviews and post under them starting with "The Tomorrow Code" and newer. For each review you post under, stop back and let us know and you will get 1 extra entry. The SECOND: link our contest either on your sidebar, or somewhere on a different site and post the link here. (CONTEST ONLY OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF THE GOOD OL' USA)

We will be posting reviews throughout the next few weeks. Keep checking back, as everytime we post another review, it is a chance for you to get an extra entry. This book comes out in a bit over a month and we will have the ARC in your hands with plenty of time before that. REMEMBER....YOU MUST either already Follow or site, or become a new Follower. Anyone who enters and is not following, the entry will not count. Check back in a day or so for another contest we will be hosting.

THANKS SO MUCH AND WE HOPE YOU ARE AS EXCITED TO ENTER AS WE ARE TO GIVE IT OUT!!

THE LATEINER GANG

  1. Can those of us who are not residents of the good ol' USA still enter the contests if we have a mailing address in the Lower 48?

  2. As long as you have a mailing address in the USA for us to send the book to, you can live in the middle of The Sahara Desert for all we care! :O)

    Good Luck!

  4. Alright! Contest for Fire! Graceling was an awesome book, so I'm hoping this is just as good. Count me in!

Let's see, I already follow you guys, so that's good. I can't think of one right this second, sorry, but I'll recommend a good book later. And I'll comment your other reviews very soon, alright? I've already got you linked on the sidebar of my book blog. ^,^

I'd say I'm in pretty good running. ^_^

  6. Hi, I'm back. ^,~

I thought of a perfect book to use for my entry. I'm just about to pick up THE HOURGLASS DOOR from my library, and I hear that it's a really good book. I'm pretty sure it is, because I read the first chapter online and was hooked immediately. I can hardly wait to settle down with it. ^_^

I commented on the other reviews you wrote too. Now I'm all set. ^_~

  20. Just became a follower (even before I saw it was a requirement of the contest!). A fave I've read recently is the first two books of The Hunger Games trilogy (which I have yet to review). As far as things I have reviewed, that you can see my opinion on, probably Thirteenth Child (review jhere). Also loved Little Brother and a host of other things.

(ps, my Captcha word is "hotling"...I kind of like that. ^_^)

  21. Jill,

I also Read "When I reach you" also! It was pretty good. Short, but good.

    Sandra,

I know you have been around checking out our posts for a while. We do pay attention! Thank you. Keep checking back because soon we have a surprise MEGA contest coming up. Well, a value of $200 is MEGA in our minds!

  22. I am now a follower. Good book recommendations: Recently finished a great, well-written mystery, The Cruelest Month by Louise Penny. I highly recommend this series, but suggest you start with Still Life. Probably more interesting for adults than children. One of my favorite fantasies is Mort by Terry Pratchett. Candleman (husband) is reading now and is loving it, too. My daughter just finished Hunger Games and Catching Fire and says they are marvelous.

  26. I am now a follower and a book I really like that I read recently would be the Count of Monte Cristo-I'm on a bit of a classics kick. But I would definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn't read it yet; it's a little slow in the beginning but once the revenge plot really starts, you can hardly put it down!
